Sharen Kaye Tatom

Sharen Kaye Tatom, 74, of Shelbyville passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville. She was born July 30, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Guy and Audrey (Coughenour) Simpson. Sharen is survived by her son, Terry Tatom and wife, Pamela, of Indianapolis; sister, Carol Chambers and husband, Jim, of Indianapolis; brother, Robert Simpson and wife, Robin, of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Deanna Wilson and fiance’, Eric Stone, Jessica Corrigan, Taylor Tatom, Amber Tatom and Terra Tatom; great-grandchildren, Hailey Stone, Eric Stone Jr. and Alaska Seeley; and several nieces, nephews and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William Simpson Jr. Sharen attended Gray Road Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She retired in 2003, from Bank 1, as a loan processer. Sharen enjoyed crafting, crocheting, working puzzles and painting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Private services will be observed, due to current health regulations. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
