Shirley D Richardson

Shirley D. Richardson, 82, of Greenfield, passed away, Saturday, October 26, 2024, at her home.

She was born March 7, 1942, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Russell Jeffries and Elva (Bilheimer) Rowe. On May 27, 1966, she married Edward L. Richardson and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2020.

Shirley is survived by her children, Phillip Jenkins of Greenfield, Gary L. Jenkins and wife, Shannon, of Tennessee, Eddie B. Richardson of Fairland, and Tammy L. Lett of Greenfield; sisters, Judy Turner, Marsha Gray and Nancy Morgan; brother, Ronald Jeffries; grandchildren, Chrissy, Kimber, Kayla, Brandon, Felecia, Erin and Jade; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to Edward, Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley graduated from Howe High School in Indianapolis, in 1960.

She worked at KEIHN IPT in Greenfield, for over 14 years.

Private family services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
