Sue E. Kelley, 96, of Morristown, formerly of Bargersville passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at Morristown Manor in Morristown.
She was born August 9, 1922, in West Frankfort, Illinois, the daughter of Noah Jasper and Emma (Osteen) Henson. On June 21, 1941, she married Thomas Kelley, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1975.
Sue is survived by her daughters, Sharon S. Winzenread of Shelbyville, and Glenda A. Adams and husband, Scott, of Dawsonville, Georgia; sons, Rick T. Kelley and wife, Judy, and Randy W. Kelley and wife, Theresa, all of Bargersville, and Jerry J. Kelley and wife, Leslie, of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to Thomas, Sue was preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew Winzenread; granddaughter, Shana Kelley; brothers, Burnell Henson, Rex Henson, Ray Henson, Glen Henson, and her twin brother, Noah Jerry Henson; and sisters, Edna Berryhill and Nancy Stone.
Sue graduated in 1940 from West Frankfort High School in West Frankfort, Illinois.
She was a member of the Bargersville Christian Church.
Sue formerly worked as a switchboard operator at the Bargersville State Bank for 10 years, retiring in 1988.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 439.
Sue loved her children and grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.
Private family services will be conducted.
Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
