Tammy L. Heller, 54, of Fairland passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. She was born December 10, 1965, in Irving, New York, the daughter of Henry Ellison and Betty Jane (Solberg) Jones. On July 3, 2007, she married Jeffery Heller, and he survives. In addition to Jeffery, Tammy is survived by her children, Matthew Ryan Heller and wife, Tiffany, of Buffalo, New York, Sara Jane Heller and Ethan Jeffery Heller, both of Fairland, Tabitha Lynn Cox and husband, John, of Greenwood, Michael Anthony Heller and wife, Elizabeth, of Carnesville, Georgia, Jeremy David Heller and wife, Whitney, of Indianapolis, and David Saltares and wife, Waleska, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; sisters, Cindy Smith and husband, Kenny, of Derby, New York, and Sandy Ells and husband, Rick, of Angola, New York; brothers, Scott Jones and wife, Donna, of Rochester, New York, Earl Jones and wife, Deny, of Derby, and Henry Jones of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Noah, Caleb, Sophia, Aneila, Giovanni, Harper and Jayden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents. She graduated in 1984 from Lake Shore Central High School in New York. Tammy was a member of Fairland Christian Church. She worked as a cook at Triton Central High School, with over 10 years of service. She also participated in the Good News Club. Tammy enjoyed watching home improvement shows and flipping designs. She also enjoyed playing games on her phone, watching soap operas, and spending time with her family. She also leaves behind her dog, Nala and cat, Sassy. Tammy was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Private family services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Indiana, 11550 N. Meridian St., Suite 115, Carmel, Indiana 46032.
