Tom H. Wilks

Tom H. Wilks, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at the Indiana Masonic Home. He was born October 8, 1947, in Indianapolis, the son of Elmer Louis and Beatrice (Ryan) Wilks. Tom is survived by his sons, Tom David Wilks and Anthony Ryan Wilks; daughter, Wendy Heather Wilks; sisters, Mary Ann Harwell, Maureen “Moe” Nuss and Marcia Bozic; grandchildren, Ella Wilks, T.J. Wilks and Jack Wilks; the mother of his children, Clarice Wilks; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parent. Tom graduated in 1965 from Scecina High School. He was a golf pro and had worked at many golf courses. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
