Tony Lee Sexton

Tony Lee Sexton, 64, of Indianapolis, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at his home.

He was born on November 5, 1962, in Shelbyville, the son of Kenneth Ray and Dorothy Alice (Nigh) Sexton.

Tony is survived by his parents of Shelbyville; son, Justin Sexton and wife, Sarah, of Indianapolis; sister, Dawn Gilles and husband, Scott, of Shelbyville; brothers, Kim Sexton and wife, Laura, of Fort Wayne, and Todd Sexton of Shelbyville; grandchild, Trystan Sexton; and several nieces and nephews.

In 1981, Tony graduated from Shelbyville High School.

He retired in 2012 from Brazeway, with 25 years of service.

Tony enjoyed going fishing, playing golf and watching NASCAR races.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at his sister’s home, 1503 Oak Park Drive in Shelbyville, with a Celebration of Tony’s life to follow.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
