Trent Alan Miller

Trent Alan Miller, 65, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at his home.

He was born January 14, 1958, in Shelbyville, the son of James I. “Jim” and Janet L. (Tracy) Miller.  On December 20, 2003, he married Melissa D. Gambrel, and she survives.

In addition to Melissa, Trent is survived by his son, Brandon Miller and wife, Kristin, of Greenfield; daughters, Lacey Locker of Spiceland, Abbigail Miller of Morristown, and Brittany Tompkins and husband, Josh, of Wilkinson; sister, Katherine Miller of Gwynneville; and grandchildren, Matthew, Katelyn, Darrell, Wyatt, Lindsay, Lauren, Ellie, Gentory and Duke.

Trent was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Claire; and several aunts and uncles.

In 1976, Trent graduated from Morristown High School.

He was a member of the Gwynneville Christian Church.

Trent was a truck driver and last worked for Caldwell, Inc.  He also enjoyed farming and was an avid Farmall Tractor fan.

He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion and Pioneer Engineers Club of Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Friday, September 8, 2023, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.

Funeral services will be at 10 am, Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
