Virginia Williams

Virginia Williams passed away at the age of 91 on September 15, 2021. She was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on September 10, 1930 to Gerald and Dorothy (Jumper) Hasler. She married Sherman Williams on October 3, 1953, and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2007. They lived in Morristown for many years and she was a member of the Morristown Christian Church. She graduated in 1948 from Fairland High School. Virginia worked in the law offices of Barnes and Thornburg, until she retired in 1996. She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy May Miller and Geraldine Wells, both of Shelbyville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, Indiana, with Rev. Beth Crouch officiating. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Memorial contributions may be sent to Boys and Girls Club of Morristown, 307 W.
