William Maurice Robbins

William Maurice Robbins, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Compass Park in Franklin.

He was born July 2, 1952, in Indianapolis, the son of Bueford C. and Caryl (Loper) Robbins.

William is survived by his daughter, Danielle Bailey and husband, Joseph, of Franklin; sister, Julie Robbins and husband, Ken Zimski, of Franklin; grandchildren, Jade and Damian; niece, Kristen Cecil; and nephew, Joe Robbins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

William received his bachelor’s degree in radio and telecommunications from Purdue and Indiana Universities.

He retired in 2003, from Ritron, where he worked in the sales department for over 15 years.

William enjoyed spicy food and was a chili head. He also enjoyed playing Pokemon GO. He loved fishing with his daughter and grandchildren.

Services were entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
